Dreams

They are one of your most dreaded thoughts,

Or they might be one of your most cherished ones,

They might force you to wake up in the middle of night and wonder…,

Could this really happen to me?

Can I be a millionaire one day?

Can my life end up this way?

Or is this really how I am going to be 10 years down the line?

It s all in the power of imagination,

That takes us to places….places unknown,

Never heard about or seen in real life,

Or you might just choose to travel to far-off places,

To the opera in darling harbor, to the ancient monumental heritage of Rome,

To witness the World War 2 back in the 40’s,

Or to see India get independent,

It’s amazing what all you can do by just dreaming,

You can be the King of Jordan, the owner of luxury-suave houses and cars,

It’s through these little figments of thoughts,

That we are convinced and inspired to turn them into reality,

Whether in a constructive or a destructive way is the prerogative of the individual,

Many nations have been transformed by dreamers, who had faith in their dreams,

Nelson Mandela, Che Guerrera, Mahatma Gandhi amongst many others,

Who can forget “I HAD A DREAM” by Martin Luther King?

With dreams, come ambitions, with ambitions comes courage,

With courage comes the belief, and with belief comes success,

So start dreaming and not just dream shape them into veracity!
